Former cop Shot 'Texting Couple' inside theater

We all are well aware of those few anti-social elements which keep on humming, texting or calling during the movie, we are never really sure how to deal with these people. But a former cop from Washington have dealt with these people in his own way.

Lack of theater manner took an ugly turn when a couple was shot at by a retired police officer who became annoyed by their act of texting during the show. The man named Curtis Reeves, 71, asked the victims(Chad and Nicol Oulson) to stop texting several times but they kept on texing without paying heed to the man's words. Then the frustrated former cop Took out his gun and shot Chad in the chest. The Victim was sent to the local hospital, doctors said that his condition is still critical.

According to the figures released by data analysis firm Musicmerit Mars American singer-song writer Bruno Mars and R&B star Rihana are the most pirated music artists of 2013.  Taking look at the figures presented Mars finished the year with nearly 5.8 million downloads, Rihanna 5.4 million, Draft punk was third with 4.2 million. Justin Timberlake with 3.9 million and Flo Rida with 3.5 million download were the top five. 

Although necessary measures are implemented by the music industry but the piracy still remains at large.

Discovery of Anti-Obesity compound

In 2008, more than 1.4 billion adults were overweight and more than half a billion were obese. At least 2.8 million people each year die as a result of being overweight or obese. The prevalence of obesity has nearly doubled between 1980 and 2008. Once associated with high-income countries, obesity is now also prevalent in low- and middle-income countries.These startling figures are tend to increase in future. The obesity is also linked with various health problems such as heart problem diabetes e.t.c But it looks like a cure to this peril is being found by the researcher. Two researchers named  Jonathan R Brestoff Parker, a Skidmore College graduate and Thomas H Reynolds, associate professor of health and exercise sciences have discovered an anti-obesity compound. 

The compound so far have been tested on mice where the mice lost 40% of its body weight. Researchers further concluded that if they put the number in context a 300-pound (136kg) obese person would lose 40 percent of its body weight which is 120 pounds(54kg). 

This discovery have caught worldwide attention. The researchers have patented the compound as US patent number 8,598,150. The next step researchers have said is to find out about the mechanism of the compound.

There had been a long run of people who have devoted their life in finding the fountain of youth. But now these stories have started to appear like myths and no one is interested in checking authentication of it. But the idea of eternal youth is now becoming possible by using different expensive surgeries and also by injecting various chemicals. For ages the scientists were trying to find a natural substitute which would bring the desired result. Now it looks like the wait have ended as an Australian and Us scientist have discovered an anti aging cream. 

The Australian and  US scientists have developed a new compound that would reverse the aging process in humans. The scientists planned to begin the human trails of this compound at the beginning of next year. So far the compound have been successfully tested on mice. The study shows a bright new possibilities for this new treatment for age related diseases including cancer, muscle wasting and other diseases says the researchers. 

Dad asks for one million likes on facebook page as dowry

                                                        A father in Yemen has asked his future son in law to provide him one million likes on his Facebook profile before he allows him to marry his daughter.  Salem Ayash, a professional poet said he agreed to this peculiar request before letting his daughter get married as no one in Yemen could afford to pay the dowry because of the financial status. The page which was recently set up by the groom have received over 35000 likes so far. Ayash also said that the groom can take any amount of time he likes to get the requested number of likes.

                                                       An Indian origin entrepreneur in the US has developed a T-shirt that repels liquids which are water based and is almost impossible to stain. The T-shirt is named as Silic is embodied with nano-particles which repels water-based liquids by forming a layer of air between the cloth and liquid. This causes the liquid to form a sphere and roll of the cloth hence avoiding unwanted stains. The person wearing this high tech T-shirt also don't have to be worried about sweat stains. The shirt causes sweat to evaporate into air instead of cloth.

Scientists successfully grew kidney from stem cell

In last few decades the technology have entirely changed the prospect of how we view our world. According to a recent received report a team of Australian scientists claimed to have made the first complex human organ using stem cell. Although the reports are yet to be checked but if the report is true then it could be the major breakthrough in the medical field that could yield better ways of treatments.
