Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and politician who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999 died at the age of 95 on Thursday after prolonged lung infection.
Although Mandela had been frail and ailing for nearly a year, Zuma's announcement late on Thursday of the death of the former president and Nobel Peace Prize laureate shook South Africa. Although the whole world is in deep shock after this tragic event. Here are the responses from few celebrities "Our heartfelt and deepest condolences go to the people of South Africa on the death of their beloved leader and President Nelson Mandela. His life exemplified humility, moral courage, and the belief in justice, reconciliation, unity, and the ideals of freedom and democracy.  Madiba’s life was a living example of grace and forgiveness in the face of unspeakable suffering; hard work and sacrifice with dignity; and an uncompromising belief that all people can work together to change conditions of disparity and economic inequality, and can learn to live together in peace. The legacy of his life and leadership compels us to continue his work to build communities, countries, and a world where all people can manifest their GREATNESS, and live their dreams." said Les Brown.
"Mandela was one of a kind - I for one will be teaching my children about him in the hope they also inspire others and make a difference.RIP" reads Keith Berry's official Facebook page.

"I am deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Mandela. His was a life filled with purpose and hope; hope for himself, his country and the world. He inspired others to reach for what appeared to be impossible and moved them to break through the barriers that held them hostage mentally, physically, socially and economically. He made us realize, we are our brother's keeper and that our brothers come in all colors.

"What I will remember most about Mr. Mandela is that he was a man whose heart, soul and spirit could not be contained or restrained by racial and economic injustices, metal bars or the burden of hate and revenge. He taught us forgiveness on a grand scale. His was a spirit born free, destined to soar above the rainbows. Today his spirit is soaring through the heavens."

He is now forever free.
